Acne

What is Acne and What Causes It?
Acne is a common skin condition that occurs when hair follicles become clogged with excess oil and dead skin cells, leading to the formation of spots, blackheads, whiteheads, and sometimes cysts or nodules. It can appear on the face, chest, and back, affecting individuals of all ages. The condition is typically triggered by an overproduction of oil in the sebaceous glands, which, when combined with dead skin cells, clogs the hair follicles. Hormonal fluctuations, stress, diet, and lifestyle factors can also contribute to acne breakouts, especially in those with oily or blemish-prone skin.
